No change in our wedding “yes’s” I assure you HAHAHA. Anton and my father would have killed me! π π π
As you all know, I’m quite the planner… or at least I think I am! I actually thrive on organizing and planning anything from my work week and dance routines to all of our trips. Our friends even nicknamed me “tator Timms” because I’m such an OCD planner. The “tator” part is for “dictator” not “tator tot” I assure you. (Even though that’s what I first thought.)
So I had this awesome itinerary. Well, two actually. Our villa guests had one itinerary and our guests who chose to stay elsewhere had a separate itinerary. Tuesday was one of those days that we planned on everyone joining us for our last day as “free” people HAH!
The plan was (on the invites too) to have the girls enjoy a spa day at the villa… massages, a light lunch and nail appointments. The men were going to be sent to the beach to chill out and enjoy some guy time. Then everyone would meet back at the villa to shower and change and that night, the sexes would then go their separate ways to celebrate our “bachelor and bachelorette” parties so to speak.
If only I could control the weather lol.
If you read my blog on Positano and our villa, you would recall that we had to move our yacht day back a day to accomodate rough seas. The sun was shining and the day was gorgeous but the seas were too rough to venture out. So we changed our boat day to Tuesday. That meant Monday was free and could have been our day to do men’s and ladies’ days. But at this point I decided it wasn’t worth separating us. The villa dinners were soooo amazingly delicious, why leave? And when you are in as beautiful and romantic place as Positano, why do a separate men’s and ladies’ night out away from eachother?
SO… we all partied it up at the villa, again! I’m sure by this point our staff and chef were hoping for a break from us LOL. Our chef Guiseppe made this amazing pesto pasta that was to die for! Every dinner was like 4 courses. We also had grilled Amalfi sea bass and tiramisu dessert. I think I probably ate most of the pesto… my self control had a momentary lapse. “I don’t eat pasta, but when I do, it’s pesto pasta” HAHAHA.
I figured the wedding day was going to be dressy enough, so this night could be “casual chic.” I wore a nice turquoise sundress from guess who? Revolve.com of course. I also wore my flat shoes (thank you Tory Burch) because of those villa stairs!
Anton wore another one of his wedding outfits (courtesy of me π ). This time he wore a Robert Graham dress shirt with white AG jeans and his new Positano loafers his lovely fiancΓ© purchased for him the day before :).
My Dad was so cute- he wore a jacket every night. I think he was just sooo happy his oldest daughter was finally getting married, he wanted to celebrate every night!
Well… what are you guys thinking? Am I weird? Sane? A little bit of both? I had some white on my shoes you see lol. Oh and btw my makeup needed some serious help. I tried to be as natural as possible the entire week up until the wedding and didn’t even open up the products I’d purchased from Benefit.Β I mean, who does that? I guess I wanted to look like me during my wedding week and not me as a ballroom dancer! HAHA… I only know two speeds for makeup… glitter and A TON of tanner or a practically naked face!
Oh boy do I need help! And on that note, I’m off to utube some serious makeup tutorials. Thank God for Instagram filters!
