Who says we cannot continue our super sexy off the shoulder look into the winter months?

NO ONE.

That’s why I love this year’s fashion SOOO much! It matches a look, my fave off-the-shoulder look, I’ve loved for years and even tried incorporating into my professional ballroom dance costumes.

My East Coast ladies, you’re going to want to pair this look with some sexy, thigh high boots and a leather jacket for warmth! If you’re on the West Coast or even a desert climate, you can totally get away with my swanky dress sandals (L.A.M.B. made these a few years back and I LOVE them) and a simple wrap. On chilly nights to match your super HOT high heels, a faux leather or fur jacket would complete the outfit.

I first wore this fun number out for a birthday dinner downtown San Diego. What I love about my outfit is that you can dress the top up or down with silver jewelry. Fun bangles and sparkles add the perfect finishing touches. And in as casual a city as San Diego, you don’t look over-the-top dressy which is kinda nice! I’m never afraid to look over the top (LOL) fancier is always best for my dancer tastes, but I totally understand when some of us get self conscious arriving in stilettos while everyone else is in flip flops.

We dined downtown at Mr. A’s (amazing views and delicious food, I highly recommend it if you’ve never been) and luckily, our car brought us directly to our destination. Walking to the elevator and upstairs was easy in these shoes. But if you’re like me and don’t want to waste a great outfit and all that preparation time, you ask your lovely fiancé to escort you to a post dinner bar or second hotspot where you can cuddle and enjoy a night cap :).

THIS USUALLY MEANS WALKING IN UNCOMFORTABLE SHOES. Plan ahead ladies. I LOVE to walk off my dinner so I’ve gotten into the routine of shoving my Tory Burch flip flops into my purse and putting them on as we walk. I always change back into my high heels upon arrival, but it saves my feet and Anton’s shoulders so he doesn’t have to carry me (HAHA) to swap them out for some flats during our quick hike!

My favorite boutique in San Diego is Camellia in Solana Beach. They don’t have a website, but you can find them on instagram @camellia. Can anyone recommend a cute online boutique or two that has some more of my favorite tops? Fancy, casual, any color? I want to stock up now so that when the fashion trend changes, I am equipped! 🙂

xx Shanna
