Roberto Cavalli… LOVE LOVE LOVE his dresses.
Such fun style! I swear they bring out the inner animal in all of us, LOL.
His dresses totally radiate animal instincts, sexiness and creativity.
Anyone??
SO I chose this dress for our dinner date downtown last week. I love how the wild print can work for both summer and fall style. (And since we are already in August, why not have a plan to bring it out during fall too?) Such versatility is a MUST in my closet. I don’t have the patience nor the time to constantly shop each season of every year and pull out a summer wardrobe while packing away a winter one.
Plus, excessive shopping for a big wardrobe is super expensive. I prefer to splurge on my travels.
Remember, I like things simple and balanced in my life.
With a crazy dress like this, you really don’t need accessories. Less is more. If you overload yourself with bracelets, big earrings and too many rings, you’ll look like a Christmas tree.
LOL.
I LOVE my engagement ring, stud earrings and Tiffany Yorkie charm necklace. That’s more than enough for me in this dress. Always rushing here, there and everywhere, this totally works for my lifestyle.
Who has time to constantly accessorize? And if you do, the more power to YOU!
For this look, I chose a pair of my favorite Christian Louboutin shoes. They’re actually super comfortable as high as they are. The platform at the base helps.
(Note to self ladies, the extra platform at the bottom helps reduce the incline in the arch of the shoe so your foot won’t be in as dramatic a position.)
I admit, some of the Louboutin shoe styles are too tough for me to walk in even as a dancer. These however, are perfect. I love the simplicity of a nude, patent leather high heel. And the accent of red at the bottom of the shoe adds a nice touch don’t you think?
With basic accessories and classic nude heels, the dress pops. 🙂
One of the best things about Cavalli dresses is how they show off your body’s curves. These dresses do an amazing job of sculpting our behinds ladies!
And if you’re worried about the price tag, STOP because you needn’t pay full price. Cavalli and Just Cavalli dresses go on sale twice a year during the designer sales. I’d actually recommend waiting and saving up for these sales. Why pay full price when you don’t have to? Maybe you’ll find two dresses for the price of one :).
I see that as a major savings, although the men in my life would completely disagree ha ha ha.
Happy Cavalli shopping guys and nighty night!
