Guess what I brought to Italy for the big wedding week? I couldn’t forget to take my fave, most versatile, wedding white blouse with me LOL.
As you all know I am big on carrying this year’s off-the-shoulder trend into every season for as long as I can! I found this super cute blouse at my fave local boutique, @camellia. The photos were a challenge because although the material is a cotton, the blouse appears shiny and luminescent on camera, LOL. I did not use photoshop I promise!
I’ve worn this blouse a few ways and I LOVE its versatility!
- You can wear it as a dress and wear the appropriate slip or undergarments.
- It makes a perfect bathing suit coverup or sexy summertime blouse over jeans.
- You can wear it as a long top with leggings for fall. Especially now that white is acceptable post labor day HA HA. I love how fashion is becoming so rebellious :).
- Pair your white blouse with a wide belt and you have my version of fashion piracy :).
- Last but not least my favorite, a naughty look indeed. Light some candles, put on some sexy tunes and slip into your white blouse sans well, anything really. (I think my Christian Louboutin nude pumps go nicely and help add shape to my bare legs so you may want to try this too). Trust me when I say he will LOVE IT.
Add a pair of ray-bans, a shawl and you are ready to rock and roll! Or if you’re over-the-hill silly like me, dressing for a relaxing dinner in Little Italy is plenty of excitement for a Friday night!
And for those of you wondering, YEP, it’s a hairpiece. Sometimes I let my hair grow long, sometimes I cut it short. I like to change it up! During these photos, I have shoulder length hair that I couldn’t get to style the way I wanted, fast enough. So I pulled my hair into a low bun and clipped my ponytail in. It’s super easy! I’ll be sure to do a tutorial on it later. Hair pieces are so great because you can change your hair style without ruining your hair. You can also give yourself a fancy “do” in under five minutes!
